Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Rachel says that a hairdresser taped Toto r's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Toto r became bloody and upset.
Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.
Wow! My Dog is a mobile pet salon that employed the groomer who was responsible for these actions.
Rachel rushed Toto to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.
Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Marianna De las Vegas - a Wow! My Dog client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. Another customer took a Snapchat of a dog appearing to be in pain. They claimed that a groomer inserted an ear napkin by force.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."
Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
